Market Introduction
In 2023

Work Anywhere
Stay Anywhere
We started to think of a new type of mobility space, that offers both, the comfort of a traditional camper van, yet allows users an optimized ergonomic space for conducting remote work wherever the whim takes them. In other words, a seamless crossover of functionalities for an ideal work-life balance…. hence the Cross Cabin naming,” said Steve Crawford, Director of Alpine’s European Brand Business Division. As a vehicle basis a 6,70m Ford Transit van was selected and transformed into an all-new type of workcation vehicle.

The world-famous manufacturer of premium navigation and sound systems for motorhomes and camper vans demonstrates industry-first ideas and concepts in this vehicle.
Living Area
Japanese Interior Design
The Cross Cabin’s interior is a masterclass in Japanese-inspired minimalism, creating an immediate impression of space and serenity. Acoustic panel wall cladding doubles as subtle storage, with hidden cabinets and lighting alongside a state-of-the-art sound system. The back of the cabin features comfortable seating, while the flat floor is elegantly covered with tatami mats. A cleverly concealed highlight is built into the floor, epitomizing the vehicle’s innovative spirit.
Bedroom
Am I Dreaming?
The workspace vanishes once the desk is folded away, seamlessly transitioning from work to relaxation. The living area converts into a cosy double bed by extending the bench seats, complete with a spacious 1.45m x 1.95m mattress, perfect for a restful sleep after a day of adventure.
Portfolio
Overview
The completely novel and multifunctional design of the interior is based on the principles of Japanese minimalism and aesthetics through order.
Kitchen
An outdoor kitchen
Cooking in the Cross Cabin is a special experience: the entire kitchen unit can be swiveled 90 degrees out of the side door and lowered electrically to the floor. An outdoor kitchen is effortlessly created , which invites you to cook outdoors with the practical induction hob . The elegant kitchen unit also includes a sink and a 70 liter ‘Dometic’ compressor fridge, accessible from both sides.
Bathroom
A clean thing
Due to the optimal use of space, the 6.70 m long Cross Cabin has a spacious wet room that fits completely harmoniously and unobtrusively into the interior. The bathroom has a full shower with sink and an integrated ‘HEKI’ roof light. When showering, the waterless ‘Clesana’ toilet is simply pushed under the seat and taken out again when necessary.
